Some recipes that have whole eggs as an ingredient won't turn out if you just

use the yoke. The white is the part that kind of holds things together. You

don't have to use egg whites, though you may have to experiment.... and maybe

try some of the legal egg replacement ideas on www.pecanbread.com . Plus, there

are quite a few egg-free recipes there.

Sensitivities to egg whites - Can I use egg yolks in

recipes?

My two boys are sensitive to egg whites. When I pulled eggs out of their diet,

thier BMs became more runny again. Can I cook their recipes with just egg yolks

and get the same results without bothering their sensitivities?

Thanks, Dana

I wonder if this could explain my problem! I started the diet on Oct 1 but

started in on the full diet since symptoms were not very bad. After 8 days of

getting much worse, I realized I needed the intro diet so I backed up. I

decided immediately that eggs were making things worse so I cut them out. After

5 days on the intro diahhrea was still horrible but I was advised to start

adding in veggies anyway. Diahhrea is now not as bad but still several times a

day, always watery, often mucus and not much else, nothing has been formed in

over 2 weeks now.

Could this be due to NOT having eggs? Any other explanations? I am getting

worried that something is not right. Foods right now include gelatin,

boiled/broiled chicken or meat, green beans, squash, banana, and just added

cheese. Nothing illegal. Please tell me your thoughts. I do not feel like

things are going well, or as they should.

Using just yolks in a cookie recipe will give you a rich result like a

shortbread.

If you are asking me (I noticed someone else has posted here also). Yes, we do

use probiotics. We use goat yogurt and SCDophilus Capsules.
