The metabolites of naltrexone stay in the body for something like 72hrs(read this on alchohol addiction study site). Most likely not as good as the whole package, but might still help some.

During a phone consultaton with Dr. Bihari, he said that taking LDN

between 9pm and 3am would assure that the drug was still in one's

system when the peek endorphin production occurs(2am-4am). LDN does

not stay in your system very long. If LDN is taken before 9pm you

risk the drug being out of your system before the peek endorphin

production occurs.

We do not take 50mg of naltrexone like alcoholics do.

I am sorry, I forgot to mention that the metabolites staying in the system are not related to dosage amount. And, I just got an email from someone who says that Skip says it stays 3 days in our systems or 65 hrs. I was a few hrs off. I did say " about " 72hrs, knowing it was not exact to the hr.

Guess here is where I turn the other cheek and overlook your not so nice emails. On 1/30/07, LarryGC <

I know if a family member lets my grandma take her LDN at 7pm, my

grandma's Alzheimer's symptoms are much worse the next day. She can't

even talk properly at all if medicine is not given properly. This is

a good indication the LDN is not still in her system during the peak

endorphin production(2am-4am). Family members have noticed the

difference. If my grandma gets her LDN when she is supposed to

(between 9pm and 3am) she performs much better the next day.
