Body Odor

My 8 yr old is severely autistic & not potty trained, so there's often a

smell about him when he needs changing . However, lately he's had more of a

body odor smell. It's different. We had finished round 10 about a month ago

but I'm taking a long break as things were getting too difficult, probably

from yeast/bacteria or something. I'm going to try getting him started on

Primal Defense this week. He's GFCF. What else could be causing this odor?

(he's too young for puberty ... will turn 9 in sept).

Thanks,

Michele

It's definitely body odor; he needs deodorant & he's only 8-1/2 yrs old. Is

this normal or is that from the metals? Has chelation possibly stirred this

up earlier than it would have occured? As we continue chelating, how will it

change (if)?

Thanks again,

Michele

Hi ,

We have been dealing with body odor with our son since he was 3, we

have always felt that it is a hormonal issue. Now my 8 year old

daughter just started this last year with Bbody odor. We also have

alittle girl, size wise littler then my 2, up the street that got in

my car one day, when I askek my children if they had forgotten their

deodorant, she chimed right in stating that it was her, she forgot

her deodorant, we all had a good laugh. Just be careful what you use.

We have been using Tom's for years, without aluminum, now we are

having to searchout something else, because the Tom's is no longer

working for my children, but it was great while it did,

There was quite a discussion some time ago (a year or two?) on this list about a

musty smell on the kids' heads. You could check the archives for more on that.

Hi list,

I have found that body odor is due often to low Zinc levels. Take 100 mg of Zinc

for one month, then drop to 50 mg a day indefintely.

Amounts ove 100 mg a day are nt necessary or advisable as Zinc competes with

Copper for absorption.

Regards

Body Odor

Hi Group: I am sorry for this one. But I just can't get rid of it

with the natural homemade soap. I can scrub and scrub in the shower

and it is still with me. Any suggestions? Would spraying the vodka

help. Thanks, Holly
