Lynda,

I have had horrible ear problems since implants.... Getting worse lately... The last time I went to the doctor he said I had fluid behind my ear? He gave me nose spray? Do I smell a duck, Quack Quack or is this common... Seriously I am feeling the need to go to the hospital right now, my ear is killing me... I used the vinegar and it did seem to help it... However I think that my ear is not draining what so ever and getting so full of fluid... Should I do What? Anyone chime in here if you have any suggestions....

Thanks,

Lynda,

I seriously think it is fungas as in yeast... I have been slacking on my diet for awhile and it is catching up to me... I read 's post and I am not as bad as her but borderline... Not Good and I know better... I guess I am paying the price... I might start back up on my mucinex as well.... Eating raw garlic and back to square one... I know that is we don't follow this diet we suffer so much....

I mean my head hurts to move it... Sore... So do you think that fluid will drain on its own?

Lynda,

My doctor said, you don't need antibiotics, he gave me nose spray... Sometime I blow gobs of mucas out of my nose (not meaning to sound sick) seriously... Like my nose and ears are blocked up, then one day it breaks loose? Maybe I need nose spray? I don't know I just think it has gone on for so long... My Gosh almost 3 years now...

Lynda,

I got your letter today. I loved your story about your bird and robo-vac. Thanks for the smile.

I am thinking about you and I pray everything works out so you can continue treatments.

I am getting ready to watch "Its a Wonderful Life" it is on TV tonight. I just love this show. Better get my tissue now.

Love, Lynn

Lynn,

I saw the audiologist today, he understood completely what the

problem is and knows hyperbarics are the cutting edge for RSD. He is

definitely on my side. And, he says I have pressure inside both

middle ears. I am sure he will advocate for me to get tubes so I can

finish treatment. He says they do that for people doing hyperbarics

when they have problems with their ears.

It was such a huge relief to hear that, as I thought it could be a

real struggle. It is a 10-15 minute procedure under a local. You

can drive yourself home.

I see the physician assistant on Monday morning. I get the rest of

the story then, I hope.

I do have a very silly bird. I should send that part of the story to

the whole group.. I think they would enjoy it. She does think that

thing is alive.

Mostly it is allergies but sometimes infection,

sometimes fungus (I was told this today). The

nose spray may work, give it 2 weeks. It did

help me. If I was not doing hyperbarics, it would be cleared up now.

The nose spray will help inflammation in the eustacian tubes. But,

the diet will do the most good. Just don't take antibiotics unless

you know you have a bacterial infection. That could make it worse.

Sometimes the Xylitol nose spray clears some of that out for me. But

it does not do anything for the middle ear stuff.

Xlear is the brand name, you can buy it online. You might try that,

as I have heard from others that it helps them also.

I would try the nose spray, and I think a chiropractor and a massage

therapist could help you a lot.

,I've had problems with one ear for many years . . . I've seen multiple doctors and tried many things! . . . On the most recent doctors' visit, they did a culture. They said I didn't have either an infection or fungus. . . .But then I had rinsed my ear with hydrogen peroxide the night before. It gets worse if I eat sugar . . . That's my barometer of how well I'm following my program. Changing elevations also affects me . . . especially driving in mountains or flying.I've tried all kinds of things. . . Most recently, I seem to finally be making some progress. . . I don't know if this will work for you, but it's worth a try.I rinse my ear with 3% hydrogen peroxide

first. Leave it in until it quits making noise. Then I put some drops of castor oil in it . . . and use a heating pad. That seems to give me more relief than anything. The result is that my ear isn't draining, and only barely sore for the first time in months. I started taking Precision Herbs Puricell and Mycoplex a couple days ago . . . That might be having some effect. . . but I think it was getting better before I started those. Hugs,Rogene

,There's no need to panic . . . Ear infections wax and wane with any number of things . .. diet, changing elevations, weather, etc. . . If you don't have Castor oil, you can use olive oil, garlic oil, Hall's ear drops, or an antifungal ointment for jock itch.Heat can help relieve the pain and pressure too . . . Hugs,Rogene

No, not consistently, just a few times. I think you just have to try

the nose spray for a while and really watch the diet. If you think

you have fungal problems, you might try caprylic acid or some anti-fungals.

No, wrong person to ask, I will ask Monday. It would be nice, but I

cannot find any place on line where it says that can happen.

Rogene,

I was in bad pain the other nite... Had a panic attack over it.... Seriously... Well anyway I been using vinegar, then I put some sweet oil in my ear... It seemed to work.... I been ok ever since... I wrote earlier but forgot to tell you of the sweet oil.. My Mother used this for us when we were little for ear aches and it worked.... We never went to the doctor for Antibiotics, she had to many kids.... Well I used to complain about that but now I learned it was a blessing all along....

Rogene,

You know it does sound like lots of women have ear problems with implants... It goes hand in hand it seems sometimes... Well I know my right implant was full of infection and my right ear has scar tissue on it, the doctor said so, but was not willing to do anything about it... Shook Her head as in Hum, the right ear has scar tissue now.... This was after explant when she noticed this, and I was at the doctor constantly with ear problems, with implants... I wished I could become a doctor and actually help people... I would be banned in a day I bet... Well you know the rule to doctors, do harm and cover up for one another, keep the cost of malpractice insurance at a minimum and over look the truth they know.... My friend works at a hospital ER and tells me the rules She has to follow... She has seen doctors mess up and kill patients and her rules are keep the mouth shut... Or Fired... I find this whole scandalous mess a disgrace to the whole country... We will hurt you, so you give us Money... They act as though they are so smart, but truly they are smart at spending our money... I bet most laugh at night as to how much money they make as being doctors... Do doctors really go to college to help people or do they think, wow if I am a doctor I can make lots of Money? I bet some do it for there heart, but very few, most are for the big bucks....

Try the vinegar and sweet oil, it does seem to be helping my ear... What a mess my ear is.... The only reason I don't want tubes in my ears... The fear of the truth behind ear tubes... I will try to find the stories on the FDA adverse events.... See what I can find, if nothing I may try to seek that road... It is like so scary for me to trust a device that is man made... No Thanks my ear is well now... LOL I am doomed as far as the ear problem, that seems to be obvious...

God Bless,
