Brett,

Did the blood in the urine cause any pain??? Have you had any pain with

urination??? I had blood in my urine when I was on prednisone and also when I

was on remicade. You should let your doctor know . Just to be on the safe side

even if it is nothing. I hope you feel better....

blood in urine

I noticed last night I after going to the bathroom, I noticed some blood Mixed

with my urine. I have never had this happen to me so I don't know if I should be

alarmed. I should note that it hasn't happened since last night. I don't know if

it's from all the meds that I take or if it could be a complication from stills.

I hope this has not happened to anybody in the group , but if s I would

appreciate the advise.

I would first recommend communication with your physician. Blood in the

urine is never normal and though you haven't noticed any since yesterday,

you may still have microscopic amounts that you cannot see. It can also be

caused by many things, some more serious than others, the least of which is

probably a urinary tract infection. Some medications can change the color

of urine.

Whatever the cause of yours, it's worth a call to your doctor so that he/she

can properly follow-up. If nothing else, you can make a visit to your local

ER. Other things that would prompt a sooner rather than later visit would

be large amounts of blood loss, pain (but don't let painless blood in the

urine fool you into thinking it's not a serious matter as it can be), fever,

bleeding from other places, chest pain, trouble breathing, lightheadedness,

palpitations, weakness, numbness or tingling in hands or feet.

Good luck to you.

Thanks for the sound advise you have given me. I will be calling my RD

tomorrow morning about this. Once again thanks for your concern.
