That a side effect coming off the ritalin...

We had to go to ONLY risperdal... of course eats like a horse some days..

but better than crying...

Thanks for the replies on cold meds! At least I have some idea of

what works for others. That helps a LOT!

Question about Ritalin....Angie started it, 2.5 mg twice a day. She

just cries all afternoon, won't eat, drink, etc. Is this common?

When my 10-y-o daughter was put on ritalin she got bad tummy aches from it. She

refused to eat and cried a lot and seemed to feel generally like nobody cared

about her. The doc changed her to straterra and adderall which do not seem to

cause pain and work fine for her ADHD. We do still have trouble getting her to

eat properly though.
