I am new to this group but have been diagnosed about seven years ago.

I am now 81. Since I have been asthmatic most of my life and had a few

pneumonias no one did a full test on me until after open heart surgery

I had a very severe pneumonia.

I am getting along reasonably well with Advair, Spiriva and a

Combivent inhaler as needed. For what it is worth, I had one pneumonia

in England and had no problem persuading American Airlines to put

oxygen on board for my flight home, so travelling when you are on

oxygen is possible.

Happily even when I have a pneumonia my sat is around 95, so at least

sonething is working well.

Thought that might be of interest to the group

Tolly
