Actos side effects

After one week on Actos we are seeing the following side effects:

Ravenous appetite, increase in poops from 1/day to 2/day happening

late at night 10-1pm, unable to go to sleep (may be due to poop coming

on late at night). I am worried about the appetite. Anyone with

similar experience and will this taper off. Also, our doc has us

starting with 1/2 a tab per day (15 mg tab)in the am and we have

reduced to 1/4 tab due to the not going to sleep. The goal dosage is

only 30 mg. I see that Dr. M recommends 45 mg. Anyone else out there

using this dosage. Will it produce the same effects? My daughter

weighs 46 lbs. Thanks, Terri
