Wow! I just figured it was scar tissue from the earplugs. I have suffered from

4s for about 30 years and now have tinnitus and dizziness. I also have a " full "

feeling in the ears at all times, so I understand what you meant by your ears

feeling " open " after the film was removed. Was it an ENT who saw the film on

your eardrum? Maybe I should have it checked out further. Thank you so much!

ear or on your eardrum. I was told the very same thing by my specialist.

However, when he sent me to another specialist to have a tube placed in my ear

to relieve the pressure in my middle ear, she looked at the same ear under a

microscope and didn't see scar tissue but a film of skin over my ear drum that

shouldn't have been there. Cutting to the chase, after three weeks of putting

baby oil in my ear twice a day, I went back yesterday and she removed the

skin/tissue. It came out in one piece that looked like an exact cast of my ear

drum. The instant she lifted it out and up, my ear pressure normalized and I

felt 1000% better. It was as if an evil spirit was excised from my body! It was

the first time my ear felt " open " in years. It was truly a gift from God.

movement of my ear drum was tested, it was slow to move correctly when pressure

was applied. She knew something was causing that and rationally went after the

root cause.

also was diagnosed with Mineires disease and severe tinnitus. I now believe that

this tissue on my ear drum may have been causing the Mineires. Also understand

that no less than five doctors looked at that ear drum and saw nothing but " scar

tissue " .
