Hiya Caitlin,

I have had the pills which did nothing for me, but the shots did help some.

This was about7 years ago, so I don't remember details but I do remember

that it did help some and there were no ill effects for me.

Hope that helps~

Blessings, Lori

I have taken Toradol for migraine pain. It didn't do anything for me, but I was

in a real bad headache cycle. I have heard good things about this drug. Just

don't take it for more than 5 days in a row. It will do nasty things to your

stomach and the drug will also stop working for you.

My daughter has severe TMJ problems (TMJ is the joint where your jaw

attaches to your head - very painful). When this joint becomes too

swollen for her to be able to shut her mouth, she gets a toradol

shot from our doctor. It is an anti-inflammatory, so it helps the

swelling go down in addition to helping with the pain. I don't

recall her mentioning any side effects from the shot. BTW, the shots

work better than the pills.

My wife has had injections of it several times for facial pain. And it

does help her for a while. She has had a flare up and just today she

was prescribed Toradol pills for 5 days. From what I understand

Toradol can cause stomach ulcers and other stomach problems. Also it

can only be taken for a short time because it can tear doun red blood

cells.

Hi Caitlin,

This post may be a little late, but I wanted to let you know that I often

get shots of Toradol. Actually I get a combination of Toradol and Norflex. It

works great for me to help break the spasms. I also get them to break up

headaches that have gone on for a while. I've never had any side effects from

it that I know of. The combination of drugs can make me very drowsy tho.

Thanks for the info Kathleen. Do you have ulcer problems at all. That is what I

am most afraid of at this point.

Hi Caitlin,

I know you didn't write to me, but, I don't think there would be a problem

with the shots. The pills quite possibly would irritate an ulcer. Just my

2 cents.
