Guest guest Report post Posted October 17, 2006 Hi hun, Sorry to hear about the high pain levels and spending a day in hospital. I know it's no fun but I hope they can find something stronger for your pain that you can tolerate. Ive taken tylenol3 a while back but it also didnt cut my pain...especially when a flare came about. Good news about your son being sober for a year. I know it has to be a struggle and the hardest thing that some have gone through. Glad ya had a party cause that must have made him feel great, like he accomplished a great goal which he did:) and maybe it will help keep his momentum up! Please keep us posted and hope you can get some rest! moderator > > Hi Everyone > > Sorry I haven't been on lately. I've been wiped out because of the > treatments. Guest guest Report post Posted October 31, 2006 Hi Diane, > > > The only thing new is that I came down with shingles. Some things that may help shingles - huge doses of vitamin C, stress relief techniques, and as much sleep as possible. If the bumps aren't weepy then regularly applying calamine lotion, and taking tepid oatmeal baths may help. I've had shingles multiple times. During the worst infection I received vitamin C injections (boy did those injections hurt!). Take care, and good luck Kym -- www.nifwlseirff.net
