OT: Advice for fibroids

I was wondering if anyone on this list has had uterine fibroids (or

knows someone that had them) and has gotten rid of them naturally. My

doctor says that they are causing my heavy monthly bleeding, and

therefore my severe anemia. She wants me to get rid of them by either:

A. Going on the pill for a while to lessen bleeding.

B. Have them surgically removed.

C. Get an IUD that slowly releases Progesterone.

I really don't want to do any of these things. But I also don't want

to be tired and weak anymore from anemia. My monthly loss of iron will

always keep my iron too low if I don't figure out a way to get rid of

the fibroids and/or slow the flow down.

If anyone has any experience with this and/or info that might help me,

I'd greatly appreciate it.

My OBGyn thought I had fibroids. C told me to mega mega mega dose on

cod liver oil. My symptoms improved. Subsequently, I went on a yeast

cleanse. Again my symptoms improved. Worth a try. HTH
