Quail,

Nice to see you made it. I hate the new format has switched to. You see

replies before you do the original post. It used to be in descending order and

now it's ascending order.

If you haven't clicked on Edit My Membership and made your choices on how you

want to read your messages, you certainly need to. If you don't, you get a

bunch of posts and replies sent to your inbox.

This is a forum for all who use LDN or want to know about LDN, it's not an MS

forum although it most of the time looks that way.

quail,

I would be interested in hearing more of your experience with LDN and psoriasis. both my mother and sister suffer from it so I'd like to pass the info onto them (who are not able to be on this email list.) The LDN must have worked very rapidly for your psoriasis since you've only been on LDN for 17 days. How soon did you start seeing results? What percentage better is it in the 17 day time frame?

HelloQuail

I too have psoriasis and have been on LDN for a year and a half with good results from some of my MS symptoms but absolutly none with psoriasis. I still have to use ointments and try to stay away from the corticosteroids.

Reg,

I'm wondering since Quail is getting such good results is because he is on 4.5mg

of Liquid LDN. He started at 4.5mg and has stayed with it.

Thank you for your interest, LDN has done wonders for me so far.

By the third day there was significant improvement in my condition. Now

after 17 nights the psoriasis is much much better. I still have a few small

areas, but nothing like it was 18 days ago.

Hi Reg,

I glad to hear that LDN has helped your MS symptoms, but I am sorry to hear

that it has not helped with your psoriasis. LDN has helped my P

tremendously. I am thinking about trying the DL phen whatever and try to

get the extra boost to the immune system and completely clear this crap up.

I had tried the DLP but my bloodpressure was going out the roof on it and had to quit it.

It never really helped anyway.

I too started with 4.5 mgs but due to extreme stiffening of my arm (to the point of rigidity) I had to cut back to 3.0 and will put up with the usuall mild stiffness that is a constant companion

I did try the transdermal and for a very short while I thought it was working to lessen the stiffness but then it came back.

Because I am getting such consistently good results from my professionally compounded LDN.I am hesitant to make my own liquid batch, as you probably read when I don't take even one nights worth I am set back about a week.

I guess my Bro. and I will just have to accept this as good as it gets huh?

Maybe because he doesn't have MS, the LDN has helped with psoriasis?

I sincerely hope that LDN can help more than one problem.I take it very very regularily to control my M.S. but yet I really hope it is also stopping any possibility of prostate cancer.

I truly believe that your body wants to heal itself and it was made to repair itself but sometimes we just get overloaded with toxins and run out of materials with which to repair.

Have you recently tried again to up to 4.5mg. 3.0mg might be okay for your MS

but Bihari prefers one to use 4.5mg for cancers if at all possible.

Which came first -- the MS or the psoriasis ??

Just wondering what the autoimmune progression was.

My cousin has psoriasis and it's just about all over her body. I've

suggested that LDN might help but I haven't too many posts about it on

this forum to have her check with other psoriasis folk.

Thanks...

I had a friend I put on LDN for increasingly severe

psoriasis but he flaked after a week or two and went

on Humira instead ( in all honesty I cant feel that he

tried LDN the right way reqardless). I tried to

suggest trying longer but he quit. How long did you

go before you noted reasonable clearing of the

plaques? What other if any adjunctive

anti-inflammatories are you on if any?

Thanks in advance

Hi, My husband is currently trying it just for psoriasis at 3mg. He tried to go higher but his hands began tremoring so he backed down. So far, so good. His body is having some kind of a reaction, the spots have halos of skin pulling back from them. Kind of like a sunburn peel. If it works we will post photos before and after. Definitely worth a try.
