Q: hydrocele / potential referral to NY practitioner

Hi All,

I recently received an email from a gentleman in Bellmore, NY who suffers from a

hydrocele. It has increased in size to a point where it is causing discomfort

& he wants to

address it, but does not like the idea of surgery. He has read literature from

countries

outside the US in which aspiration of the hydrocele with a needle was employed,

followed

by sclerotherapy. Some studies he looked at suggested that aspiration was

effective and

less risky than surgery. He is motivated enough to come to Toronto for

treatment.

I let him know that we do not perform the procedure, and suggested that

homeopathy &

biotherapeutic drainage may be helpful.

Does anyone have any other suggestions or experience in treating a hydrocele?

Does anyone know of someone who performs this procedure?

Are there any practitioners near Bellmore, NY who might be able to provide care?
