Merry Christmas all!!

Lately, the past month, my BP is been up a bit (running average is

150+/105+). I also have flushing episodes, both dry and 'wet'. Some

days I am flushed just about all day. The flushing encompasses my

feet, lower legs, face, neck, chest, arms. Also have daily headaches

(constant from when i wake up to when i go to sleep) and tremors that

come and go. The flushing, tremors and headaches are getting worse.

Saw a new internist the 1st of the month and he had a 24-hr vma and

metanephrines test done, came back fine, nothing elevated, so no pheo.

He seemed to be in the dark as to what to do if the 24-hr came back

negative, any ideas?

Am currently on 200 mg spiro (split), 240 mg verapamil, 100 mg toprol

xl and 37.5/25 maxzide, and have been for over a year. Potassium is

good. Had high calcium along with chest pain 4 weeks ago, but doc says

probably the maxzide, and calcium is normal now. He has made no

adjustments to my meds as I had a couple of 'normal' readings, mixed

in with the bad. (I also should say that i feel terrible, no energy,

and have also developed sore muscles and joints). I am scheduled to

see him again in 2 months. Suggestions?
