I had impedence test with Dr. Enlander. Results

CO 3.8, 3.8 sit 3.5 stand 3.6 l/min

HR 77 85 85 89

SV 49 44 42 41 ml also SVR and SVRI what are these?

My blood pressure was 102 over 71 usually about 110, and it was one of those

days when the blood pressure cuffs feel way too tight. I knew I had this

problem anyway, can't walk much (made trip to Dr. Lerner but wasn't able to

return) but didn't expect so low.

I have been taking doxycycline for 10 days for positive on Igenex test. Could

this have effected the test? It does make me nauseous so am eating first. My

eyes are blurrier than usual. Need glasses to see computer.

What are Cheney patients taking (and how much)? Has anyone had there test

results improve?

Does brand of hawthorne make a big difference? Have cardiologist appt.

Thanks, Kathy

previously: Does ribose figure in the Yasko work? pro or con?

I take acetyl l-carnitine and 60-120 mg co q 10, and some hawthorne but feel

like the sugar is too much for me. Having lots of fluttering palpitations.

Hi, Kathy.

Thank you for posting these results.

>

> I had impedence test with Dr. Enlander. Results

> CO 3.8, 3.8 sit 3.5 stand 3.6 l/min

***These cardiac output values are below normal. The normal range

is 4.5 to 8.5 liters per minute, according to the Cardiodynamics

website.

> HR 77 85 85 89

***The heart rate values for sitting and standing are on the high-

normal to high side. The normal range is 58 to 86 beats per minute.

> SV 49 44 42 41 ml

***These stroke volume values are low. The normal range is 60 to

130 milliliters.

also SVR and SVRI what are these?

***SVR is the systemic vascular resistance. It measures the

resistance to the flow of blood in the arterial system. The more

constricted your arterioles are, the higher this value will be.

SVRI is the systemic vascular resistance index. It is the same as

the SVR, except it is multiplied by your body surface area to

normalize it for comparison from one person to another.

> My blood pressure was 102 over 71 usually about 110, and it was

one of those days when the blood pressure cuffs feel way too tight.

***These blood pressure values are on the low side.

***Kathy, did you get a value for TFC (thoracic fluid content)?

I knew I had this problem anyway, can't walk much (made trip to

Dr. Lerner but wasn't able to return) but didn't expect so low.

> I have been taking doxycycline for 10 days for positive on

Igenex test. Could this have effected the test? It does make me

nauseous so am eating first. My eyes are blurrier than usual. Need

glasses to see computer.

***I don't think the doxycycline would have affected this test much.

> What are Cheney patients taking (and how much)? Has anyone had

there test results improve?

***I don't know this. Hopefully we will hear about this from his

soon upcoming talk.

> Does brand of hawthorne make a big difference? Have

cardiologist appt.

***I'm glad you are planning to see a cardiologist. I hope you will

have an echocardiograph examination that can check you for diastolic

dysfunction, because Dr. Cheney reportedly is finding that in so

many PWCs.

Thanks, Kathy

> previously: Does ribose figure in the Yasko work? pro or con?

***Dr. Yasko appears to recommend ribose only for people who have

tests showing genetic variations in their glucose-6-phosphate

dehydrogenase enzyme. Otherwise, she doesn't recommend it, as far

as I can tell.

> I take acetyl l-carnitine and 60-120 mg co q 10, and some

palpitations.

***Does it seem as though the Co Q-10 is helping you, Kathy?

>

***As you probably know, our moderator has asked that discussions

involving the Yasko program be carried on in the new group,

CFS_Yasko. I don't see your name in the member list over there, so

I've answered your question here, but we should move that discussion

over there. I think there is a good chance that you have a CBS

upregulation.

SVR 1567 1589 1756 1740 dyn s/cm5

SVRI 2051 2083 2300 2280 dyn s m2/cm5

I guess the SVR increasing is good, it falls a little standing, not

alot. k

> ***Kathy, did you get a value for TFC (thoracic fluid content)?

No. There is MAP 80-82 same measuring unit as BP. Starting

measurements CVP 3 mmHg, PAOP 7mmHg, BSA 1.30 m2.

I don't have the thirst of diabetes insipidus, but under physical

stress, maybe hormones go off, like after this test pee more, and

maybe more after drinking recup or gookinaid. Have low blood volume.

Usually my tests are normal by standard methods.

No, can't tell. When I took more for a little while felt it

wasn't good and went back to 60 mg absorb.

Didn't know, I'll join, hope Cheney patients may comment here.

I had the Sciona CBS C699T (CC), but I think you said not the same. I

don't eat a lot of meat, tolerate sulfur foods. Only had gas with

spirulina. Why do you think that? I'll copy this last part to other

board. Can anyone with comments send copy to my email as well, can't

keep up. Thanks, Kathy
