I had the runny nose too......(but as you said, felt completely fine)I skipped over low dose ...straight to the high one.....so that explainsthe lack of detox symptoms!!! Your runny nose is telling you, the potassium iodide in your lugols is doing it's job, some say it is detox, but I believe it is the iodide which cause mucus to liquify and be more soluble. As your body adjust to the increased dosage the runny nose will stop.

I think I had a cold, it was very exciting, as my nose ran all day long, lots, I take over two hundred mgs of iodine, and it's a change to be sick some, the runny nose was a nuisance, but I felt fine, From my observations the less iodine you take, the more problems surface, my customers who take over a hundred mgs daily, rarely if ever mention problems, david lubbock tx.

Weight gain occurs when the body can't keep up with the detox process and so

starts storing the chemicals it can't recognize or cope with as fat, to protect

the

body from them. The best way to avoid weight gain is to work on one's detox

pathways. This includes liver support, infrared saunas, cleanses, and that sort

of

thing. And it includes hormone balance in general.

That way, when you detox, the body can eliminate the waste products instead of

storing them as fat. There's no shortcut, although it doesn't have to be

painful. My

bodily balance is delicate, so on the advice of my naturopath/acupuncturist I

used

sence cleansing tea.
