I do get that one tested and it is about half of what my dr expects it to be given RA and extensive damage from being rear ended twice by drunk drivers in 5 years and breaking my neck in freeway accident at 22. It may take 4-6 months for that much change. I only need a blood test annually these days. All my levels have become more healthy on nattokinase and ERFA and iodine.

Pam - Was it c-reactive protein that came down when you started nattokinase?

What kind of Nattokinase do you take? I have a bottle of NOW

but haven’t taken any yet. My naturopath didn’t like that one. I

take 48 mgs of Iodoral a day and it has helped me with many health problems

besides being hypo. Carol

http://www.vitacost.com/NSI-Vitamin-K2-MK-7-with-NattokinaseNeed a capsule every 12 hours if using for bloodclotting issues. K2 also helps get calcium on the bones and isn't found easily in foods. Natto also helpful for gut health as breaks down the biofilm that forms in gut when very sick or aged and blocks absorbing minerals and vitamins from food.

My chiropractor/GP doesn't like NOW brand either as most the capsules are too plastic like and don't break down easily in gut unless you are very very acidic. She also tells me that quality varies up and down even with same product.

Hope this helps you as much as it has helped me. PamOn Wed, Aug 3, 2011 at 8:03 AM, Carol Palmer <carol_p@...> wrote:

CarolI just wanted to see if I could help you find another brand to use. I have just started shopping this site myself, but they came recommended to me. I like a few things about this site. First, what I ordered, Olive Leaf, has no fillers and the capsules are noticably thinner. I also like that they sell some of the name brand supplements that Doug Kauffman endorses and interviews the producers of often and they sell them for less. Doug Kauffman's site is knowthecause.com in case you are unfamiliar with that name. This is the site I am referring to: http://www.mynaturalmarket.com/advanced_search_result.html?keywords=nattokinaseSo as not to waste your NOW brand, you can

do what I have been doing for over a year now so as to avoid all those plastic capsules we take. I put coconut oil or some other healthy oil into a spoon, then empty the capsules into that. Take a swig of my drink and put the spoon full of oil into my mouth after I tilt my head, opening my mouth just enough to get the spoon in. Then I swallow all together. Your mouth will never know you just took oil and you have just gotten a dose of healthy oil + your supplements.LynFrom: Pamela Valley <2007pams@...>iodine Sent: Wednesday, August 3, 2011 4:47 PMSubject: Re: Re: Nattokinase for inflammation Was: Root canal, etc.

I make my own natto, in massive quantities. You can use any legume. I use

organic adzuki beans that I get at Whole Foods. I buy the starter culture at the

oriental store. It comes in Styrofoam packets, ususally bundled 3 or 4 to a

bundle. The how-to instructions are the web. Go to youtube and enter " how to

make natto " . It is easy. It is something that only becomes appealing tastewise

after you eat it several times. Nowadays I like the stuff. It keeps very well in

the fridge.

Peace and gratitude, Dean
