Will diuretics get rid of mucin?

They never did anything for me hon unfortunately, still got my mucin, had it all

the time I was on diuretics, just made me dehydrated :(

That's what I'm beginning to suspect.

The diuretics do help a bit in that they remove some of the swelling so I can

get my joints to move easier. Unfortunately I am still pretty inflated

everywhere else.

And then there is the swelling resulting from my body's allergic response. I got

3 insect bites on my lower leg last night and have swollen up all over.

My GP is now referring me to a dermatologist in order to check for allergies to

common pill filler ingredients. GP is satisfied with how well I'm doing on the

thyroxine but admits he is concerned about the symptoms I still have, which he

is describing as " significant " . I have now been his patient long enough for him

to spot the difference in me and for him to acknowledge that my body ain't quite

right!
