50mg is not a maintenance dose, it is a loading dose to saturate tissues, and works quite well.

Thanks, I don't have fibroids so have no intentions of taking that much just wondered what the conversion factor was. Yes 2-3 drops per day works for me too. zoe

8 drops of Lugol's is about 50 mg. I can't tolerate that much. I take 2

drops a day, which is fine.
