Hi all,

Just thought I'd let everyone of you know it takes a very long

time to shake off cold/flu symptoms. I had cold/flu since mid-January

with no relief as yet. Drs don't want me taking too much or sometimes

any kind of meds, due to the illness of my liver- they're afraid I'll go

into a Hepatic Coma(fall asleep & not ever wake up, I get very

little sleep these days about 1-3 hours every 25-40 hours of being awake...

BORING & I tend to get soo tired anymore(exhausted actually)

This is once again been about a month since I've been online as it sometimes

gets too uncomfortable sitting in front of PC-- I've got ascites now too.

But the important thing is I'm still alive & mostly manage to keep

my spirits up & still enjoy a good laugh!

Love to all

Hi Jan... you're right in saying the liver feels

no pain--BUT the sac containing the liver DOES have the capability to feel

pain & this is most likely where you getting the pain on your right

side. Just thought I'd pass it on to you-- most doctors fail

yo inform people about THAT sac. So you're not imagining that pain--

it is very real

Love you all

Peace & happiness from the Northwest-

Oregon

right side is still hurting...Of course the liver feels no pain right??

Must be my imagination then huh? LOL..I hope today finds everyone doing

ok..Diane I hope your back gets better soon...Machelle you have gone through

so much already this will be easier to handle than you think..It's the

not knowing and waiting that gets to us..I have you in my thoughts and

prayers... keep on hoping your son gets out that denial river..It

is just hard for him right now..You are a good mother being so patient

and understnding..Like me I bet you wish you could take it from him don't

you?? I know when my kids are sick I look at them and say if I could take

this from you I would.

Hi Diane - Arlen from Oregon here so sorry to hear of your back problems hope

it gets better real soon.. we ALL have lots of aches & pains these days.....I

haven't been online for about a month now what with having encephalitis &

ascites now too, Manbe one one of these days I'll give you a call again -

it's always so nice & fun talking with via phone.. somehow it's more personal

what with hearing your voice & I know it's been quite some time since I

called to see how you're doing & whatcha been up too. I still have your Ph #

I just have to remember the 3 hours difference in our time zones. If you'll

remember the last time I called you it was about 8:30 or 9:30 PM & therefore

getting late in your hours in Jersey

Well Diane you cake real good care of yourself & know that I think of you

quite often & you're in my prayers & wishes for the will to help us in our

fight against HepC

Hi Terry You are indeed very lucky to have such a fine wife & for 24 years

too.... Isn't just so great to have faithful & great spouses... Tell Suzy I

said Hi, & I think she's just great!!

Well Terry it seems we're only a day apart on birthdays-- I as born in '46

how about you--You don't have to say but it'd be nice to know... I was also

born in Ohio, but love Oregon a lot with the exception of all this durn

rain... we are in the 40's up @ our house. but 50 miles away in Portland

they've been up to the mid 50's It gets down to almost freezing in early AM

& they're is ususally frost all over our vehicles & on the roads going down

into our little town here. We are on the border of Longview-Kelso WA. So

our weather is quite different from the coast(Astoria,OR or Portland

Hang in there Suzy & Terry

I have not been feeling well. I've been fighting to

stay at work today. I don't know what the problem is.

I kind of blew through the emails today, there were

about 70 of them. I'll try to get a little more into

it here... -dz-
