In all my conversations with the 'good doctors and specialists' I

have not heard that this kind of ailment is cancer. Perhaps it is.

Anyway, it has always been my way to 'discover' even at the risk

of making myself the 'test' case. Even in my work in life, my

dedication was to discover and to help others proceed from what have

been started or discovered.

If it were otherwise and I concentrated instead on successful

achievements for gain or profit, I probably would really have been a

Senator by now.

....perhaps I should tell you what I discovered yesterday after a

met with a the Dean of the College of Medicine of Xavier University.

Contradicting many other doctors, two of them said that high

count of the Alpha Feto Protein refers only to a 'disease' of the

liver and no other organ of the human body.

He is an internist; it is reported that he and his brother

studied and practice medicine in the States. He came home to attend

to his parents, while his brother continued to practice in the

States. Reportedly, he was one of the brain surgeons who attended to

President Kennedy in Dallas.

I purposely sought him out becase as an old friend, I wanted to

tell him of my condition and probably forewarn him of my farewell.

After I described my ailment, he immediately told me that he had

six patients who had ailments like mine.

Immediately after the diagnosis he just directed them to go

home. There is simply no cure, and the chemotherapy, he said is

actually an herbal cure derived from a plant in Argentina. It is only

to maintain their survival, not a cure for these kind of cases and

would be beyond their means. So he believed.

Two years later these patients came to visit, to his surprise. He

showed me their clinical records. One who just recently visited him

had survived for ten years now.

The problem he said was the Alpha Feto Protein which when it

exceeds the normal count of 1 to 5, I think it is, no matter how

small the 'mass' in the liver, points the direction where one is

surely to go before his time.

He told me that when he told the German Doctors, about the

survival rate of his six patients, they were interested. All of

these six patients merely took the common 'herb' we have in the

Philippines, caled Cebukaw, or Sibukaw (as pronounced). The old

people use it to reduce their 'sugar' for diabetes, to find relief

for their Almoranas, and other diseases including eyesights.

At Xavier University, the German Government, I think is

supporting a German Doctor who is treating indigent patients for

free. They visited him and during which he told them of his

experience with the six patients. They wanted to 'experiment and find

the curative value of the plant.'

He went to the Philippine General Hospital and inquired how

the 'German Doctors' could test and the discover the secret of the

herb. He was informed that such medical research on Philippine herbs

closed to foreigners. So he left it at that. It was a missed

opportunity, because at that time, the Director of the Bureau of

Food and Drug, in the Philippines was Doctor Quintin Kintanar who was

my room mate at school and a very good friend. He also found that

other doctors had the same experiences he had with his patients.

If I were in their shoes I would have committed an improper act,

like my father, give them some 'cuttings' or seeds of the plant. They

can plant it somewhere elese. Probably now we would have discovered

its medical cures. For me this is not a matter for 'profit' but

for 'life " .

In its raw form, all that is needed are chopped parts of

the 'wooden branch or trunk to size of a small finger. Three or four

of them must be boiled for about twenty minutes until it turns red

and dark red. It can then be used as normal drinking water.

I tried it before for my diabetes, but upon an opinion of a

doctor, I quit. He told me the 'side effects' and the volume or

measurement must first be established... Like the Mahogany tree

fruit, it reduced the blood pressure, but continued use resulted in

damage to the liver.

Perhaps, like Auring Cudal, I should keep a record of what I am

now doing and find out within a few months or weeks, whether my

Alpha Feto Protein count would change.

I have chosen to use only one laborary from now on and have my

Secretary keep a record of the results. I am just afraid that at my

age, it may be indeed be a cure but will not be 'visible' or

appreciable before my 'real time' comes when my maker will call me.

Anyway, I was just thinking about the Philippine Parmaceuticals

companies. I am certain they must have heard of this experience of my

doctor and others. They must have started their research and cannot

make for certain what they wanted that may be commercially viable. At

any rate, if they will only try and save lives and perhaps like

Argentina, provided a source of income for our country. These herbs

grow wild in Philippines, Jasaan (this is a name of a town)loam soil

but the soil as I see it is almost the same in almost all parts of

the country. Naturally there should be water and sunshine, normal

in the Philippines.

Please, do not worry about me. Tell others. The only thing that I

am really afraid of will be the expected pains but then the doctor

friends, have given me so many pain killers before I knew and ask for

or need them that I might just open a " drug store for pain killers. "

In fact, I am very much satisfied that my maker has given a

leeway of six months or more to set my affairs in order.

Again, for all of you my thanks for your concern and prayers. I

am not yet out. Sebukaw may just come to the rescue by the will of

the Almighty.

Regards,

Angel

Again, I will say...Herbs do NOTHING for the disease or the liver and

many can cause MAJOR problems.

Because there are no studies on herbal remedies be extremely careful

of what you put into your body!!!! The liver has to filter everything

you put in and some of these things can actually KILL you.
