        The Bihar government has decided to project yoga guru Baba Ramdev as their new brand ambassador.

        The government's aim is to bring to the world's notice the backwardness of the state and the state's often ignored virtues through the yoga guru.

        Baba Ramdev was in Patna for his week-long yoga camp which attracted huge crowds.

        Impressed by Baba Ramdev's capability to inculcate a spirit of zeal and zest in people's lives, the Bihar government has decided to appoint Baba Ramdev as the brand ambassador of the state.

        "I have requested Swami Ramdev to become the brand ambassador of Bihar and he has not turned down my request," Nitish said.

        Claiming that he had cured many cancer patients through yoga, Swami Ramdev today said he would come out very soon with a therapy combining herbal medicine and yoga to "tackle" AIDS.

        He’s revered by the masses. And now, yogic healer Swami Ramdev is finding audience in the corporate circles.

        A leading industry chamber, Assocham, is hosting Ramdev to address major players from the world of biotechnology and nanotechnology on the importance of ayurveda in the modern world, sources revealed.

        The spiritual guru, sources said, has been invited to address a session on Nano-Bio Ayurveda and talk about the benefits of yoga and ayurveda in improving quality of life.

        Widely popular tele-guru Baba Ramdev has said that he has no plans to join politics, though he would like to guide politicians in the right direction.

        "Neither in the past was I associated with politics, nor today I have any association with politics and I will never join politics. It is out of question for me to jump into politics," Baba Ramdev told reporters here on Monday.

        Embattled Baba Ramdev has heaved a sigh of relief after the Utaranchal Government gave him a clean chit stating that no animal parts were found in the medicines prepared by his Haridwar-based pharmacy.

        He’s somebody who has simply showed the nation how to breathe for good health! So when an interview was scheduled with Swami Ramdev Maharaj at his host Mahavir Ranka’s house, I didn’t know what to expect of the meeting.
